Architectural Residence – KNX Smart Home, Home Theater & Party Lounge AV Design

Project Overview

KT Consultancy delivered comprehensive design and planning consultancy for a contemporary private residence featuring a central courtyard layout, exposed concrete architecture, and dedicated entertainment zones. The project required a performance-driven yet discreet technology ecosystem that integrates high-end audiovisual systems, intelligent lighting, enterprise-grade networking, and centralized HVAC control. The objective was to create a seamless blend of architectural elegance and advanced residential technology while ensuring reliability, scalability, and intuitive operation.

Scope Of Work

The project included intelligent lighting control using Schneider KNX integrated with Control4, enabling scene-based automation across living spaces, entertainment zones, and circulation areas. A high-performance data network and Wi-Fi infrastructure was designed using HP Aruba enterprise-grade wireless systems to ensure seamless connectivity across indoor and courtyard areas. Video surveillance was implemented using Hikvision IP cameras for comprehensive monitoring and system reliability. HVAC integration was achieved using Coolmaster VRV interface, allowing centralized climate control across multiple zones.

Through a structured, consultancy-led design approach, KT Consultancy delivered a future-ready smart residence ecosystem that combines immersive AV performance, intelligent automation, enterprise-grade networking, and centralized environmental control — ensuring long-term reliability, operational efficiency, and enhanced lifestyle comfort.

Home Theater & Party Lounge AV Design

A key highlight of the project was the complete end-to-end design of a dedicated home theater and a high-impact party lounge AV system. For the home theater, KT Consultancy developed a detailed acoustic and AV design strategy including speaker selection based on room geometry and acoustic response, optimized speaker and subwoofer placement for accurate sound staging, and comprehensive system schematics covering signal flow, rack layout, structured cabling, and future expansion.

The party lounge was engineered as a high-energy entertainment zone, with speaker placement designed to achieve uniform coverage and dynamic sound performance while maintaining clarity and comfort. Acoustic considerations were incorporated to manage reflections and maintain controlled output during gatherings. Both systems were designed to deliver immersive experiences while integrating seamlessly with the interior aesthetics.
