Project Overview
KT Consultancy delivered comprehensive design and planning consultancy for a luxury private residence characterized by arched architectural glazing, expansive landscaped surroundings, and grand double-height living interiors. The objective was to integrate high-performance home theater systems, intelligent KNX lighting control, enterprise-grade networking, and centralized HVAC automation into a cohesive and future-ready smart home ecosystem. Special focus was placed on discreet integration, architectural harmony, and intuitive system operation across entertainment, security, and environmental controls.
Scope Of Work
The project included intelligent lighting control using Schneider and Blacknova KNX systems integrated with Control4, enabling scene-based automation across living spaces, entertainment areas, and outdoor zones. A robust data network and Wi-Fi infrastructure was designed using HP Aruba enterprise-grade solutions to ensure seamless connectivity throughout the residence. Video surveillance was implemented using Hikvision IP systems for comprehensive monitoring, complemented by discreet access control locks integrated within sliding window frames to maintain architectural aesthetics. Multi-zone background music in common areas was designed using AirPlay for flexible audio control, while HVAC systems were integrated via Coolmaster VRV interface to enable centralized climate management.
Through a structured, consultancy-led design approach, KT Consultancy delivered a refined smart residence ecosystem combining immersive AV performance, intelligent KNX automation, secure infrastructure, and centralized environmental control — ensuring long-term reliability, scalability, and enhanced lifestyle comfort.
Home Theater AV Design
A key highlight of the project was the complete end-to-end home theater AV system design. KT Consultancy developed a detailed acoustic and performance strategy, including speaker selection based on room volume and listening geometry, precise speaker and subwoofer placement for accurate sound imaging, and comprehensive system schematics covering signal flow, rack layout, structured cabling, and future expansion provisions. The theater environment was engineered to deliver immersive cinematic performance with controlled acoustics, balanced frequency response, and seamless integration with lighting and HVAC scenes to enhance the viewing experience.
